About Pauline

I didn’t grow up thinking I’d start a noodle blog. Honestly, I just really loved eating them. As a kid, noodles were the one thing I could always count on rainy days meant soup noodles, celebrations meant stir-fried noodles, and late-night study sessions meant a quick bowl with whatever we had in the fridge.

A few years ago, I went through a stretch where life felt… messy. Work stress, moving apartments, trying to “figure things out” like most adults do. Cooking became the one thing that made me feel grounded. I’d come home tired, boil water, toss in noodles, and somehow everything felt manageable again.

At first, I just experimented for myself. I overcooked them. I under-seasoned them. I made sauces that were way too salty. My friends used to joke that coming over for dinner was “a gamble.” But slowly, I started understanding textures, timing, and balance. I learned that noodles are incredibly forgiving — and incredibly creative.

This blog started as a way to keep track of recipes I didn’t want to forget. The quick garlic noodles I made at 11pm. The comforting chicken noodle soup I perfected after three attempts. The spicy peanut noodles that accidentally became my most requested dish.

If you’re here, I’m guessing you love noodles too whether it’s instant ramen upgrades, handmade pasta experiments, or simple weeknight bowls that don’t require fancy ingredients. Maybe you’re busy. Maybe you’re a student. Maybe you just want something warm and satisfying without overthinking it.

What I share here isn’t restaurant-level perfection. It’s real-life cooking. It’s the kind of food you make in slightly wrinkled pajamas. The kind you eat straight from the bowl sometimes. The kind that makes your kitchen smell amazing and your stress shrink a little.

I’m still learning. I still mess up. But that’s part of it.

So if noodles are your comfort food, your creative outlet, or your quick solution after a long day — you’re in the right place.
